  4. MORIARTY –For Cognitive, Logic,
And Reasoning Skills Ages 12 to adult.

When I was young, I found a great book filled with logic puzzles. I could only do a few of them, but one of the ones I remember involves several people with different jobs and different color hats. You are given some information, such as Mr. Jones is next to the person in the yellow hat. Aha! From this, we deduce that Mr. Jones is NOT wearing a yellow hat.

We have a new program that works very similarly. It's aptly named Moriarty…

The nefarious Professor Moriarty is giving a dinner party. As luck would have it, you have been invited. Professor Moriarty and his guests are seated about the table, and each person is eating a different food on a different colored plate and drinking a different drink. It's your task to determine where Moriarty is seated (along with everyone else) and which person he's poisoning.

You can view more DETAILS, and a TUTORIAL online at:

    http://www.StrokeSupport.com/moriarty.htm

    You can get Moriarty for $39.00 + $6.00 S&H ( 50% off the regular price of $79.00) (offer expires May 15, 2000)

  1. HUMOR & INSPIRATION

Rules for "Being Human"

RULES FOR BEING HUMAN

  1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.
  2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.
  3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error and experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the learning process as the experiment that ultimately "works".
  4. A lesson is repeated until learned. The lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, then you can go on to the next lesson.
  5. Learning lessons do not end. There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.
  6. "There" is no better place than "here". When your "there" has become a "here", you simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here'.
  7. Others are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something that you love or hate about yourself.
  8. What you make of life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
  9. Your answers lie inside you. The answers to life's questions lie inside you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
  10. You will forget all of this.
